I haven’t done justice in writing summaries atm, I need to visit my highlights thouroughly and fix the summaries I wrote.. Maybe next weekend :)
In Progress ๐ Designing Data-Intensive Applications book I have read ~7 chapters when I started my job, but I think I need to restart from zero given I have some more experience and hands-on with those concepts.

Learning to learn ๐This post is mostly a documentation of my learning process. I bought a Kindle (11th gen, paperwhite edition) in May of 2022, filled it with a few books, but really started to read just a few months back (~ Aug 2023).
But now, I am kind of hooked to it :). I read books, blogs (which I send via Send to Kindle browser extension) which I find interesting or someone shared on our company Slack which they find interesting.

Fitness Track Part 2 ๐This post is continuation of Fitness Track Part 1.
I finally extracted out the existing personal best for exercises as well, and added a new page in the appsheet to display them.
This one was slight tricky to implement because there did not seem to be an API which fetches all exercise details, so on trial and error, when I selected an exercise to log it in the app, it seemed to be calling an API /api/v2/fitnessplanner/exercisesForLogging with corresponding exerciseId under exerciseIds list parameter.

Fitness Tracking ๐The post will describe how I track my fitness journey so far.
Slight background: I am on the journey to be the person who goes to gym daily, my goal is to reduce weight, and get lean. I go to cult for gym.
What all I track so far? ๐ Weight (morning and night) Number of weeks I had been regular in gym/number of classes attended. Occasional BMI and other metrics from InBody machine installed in the gym I go to.
My First Post
Hey There ๐ ๐Alright, I had been thinking for a long time to start writing a blog. Not necessarily something technical, but just dump some of the thoughts, learnings, and resources for my future self. Starting out finally now, and this is the first post.
